  • Brush: Munnin Woodworks w/AP Shave Co 24mm Titanium Synthetic
  • Razor: Karve Overlander Brass
  • Blade: Gillette Nacet (3)
  • Lather: 345 Soaps - White Buffalo - Soap
  • Post Shave: Thayers - Cucumber - Toner
  • Post Shave: Combe Inc. - Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue - Aftershave

2 passes. Bowl lather. Excellent shave.

I'm commenting in this thread but am taking a day off from LG and the photo contest. I'll be back at it again tomorrow.

Today's soap is from a sample that was kindly provided by u/whosgotthepudding. White Buffalo is no joke. It has one of those scents that evolves during the shave. I don't know why that is, but I thoroughly enjoy it. The soap base is no joke either. It can take serious hydration, has a light, silky feel, and certainly has enough residual slickness for my needs as a straight razor shaver.

I bought the Overlander after hearing and reading u/VisceralWatch's positive comments about it over a period of months. He's absolutely not wrong. The razor is very comfortable, and is very forgiving of pressure and angle variance. Naturally, the brass version is better than the aluminum one ;-).
