* Brush: Maggard Razors 22mm Synthetic
* Razor: Maggard Razors MR6 w/ V3 Head
* Blade: Gillette Nacet
* Lather: Maggard Razors - Limes & Bergamot - Soap
* Post Shave: Maggard Razors - Limes & Bergamot - Balm
* Fragrance: Barrister and Mann - Fougere Angelique - EdP
I may not get these items out very frequently, but when I do I get fond memories of the Maggard starter kit and beginning of this hobby. While this soap base may not be up to par with current bases, it still performs it's job and is still functional. The scent on this is a great lime sherbet. It does get a little borderline cleaning product citrusy though. Fougere Angelique shares the lime note and was a good pairing. The Maggard V3 head was a nice and mild shave, similar to yesterdays Merkur 34c, providing some comfort in this marathon of shaving. Overall, today was a nice blast to the past of my wetshaving beginning.
I don't frequent the daily question thread as much as I used to. Lately it's just due to not having as much free time. I do appreciate how clean it keeps the sub though. Today's DQ post.
