• Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts / DG B11 26mm
• Razor: Blackland Razors Blackbird
• Blade: Gillette Platinum
• Lather: Van Yulay - Death by Chocolate
• Post Shave: House of Mammoth - Embrace - Splash
• Fragrance: House of Mammoth - Embrace

I have gone on record saying that I can get a good shave out of any modem soap.

Turns out I need an "almost" in that quote.

I picked up this tub at the Maggard's PIF table. Thinking it would be fun to try, I put it in my bag, and then later slotted it for today's theme

I went back to check the Spice Off to see if I was unique in my distaste for this soap. Turns out I'm not. It just didn't do a good job of providing slickness.

I also didn't love the smell. Smells like something u/priusaurus would like.

I paired my chocolate scent with coffee, as I often do. Lots of burn from the splash. Embrace is a great scent.
