  • Prep: Shower
  • Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Manchurian
  • Razor: Thiers Issard 7/8" Maple Straight
  • Blade: N/A
  • Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Pumpkin Spice
  • Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Pumpkin Spice
  • Fragrance: Southern Witchcrafts - Samhain

No other scent/fragrance/smell/vegetable/fruit is more associated with Spooky Season/Autumn/Halloween than Pumpkin. Is a pumpkin a fruit or a vegetable? Well a cursory Google search confirms it is in fact a fruit.

Stirling's Pumpkin Spice is amazing, it's a super cinnamony/nutmeggy pumpkin scent. I def get burn from it (probably the cinnamon) but it's definitely worth it for the scent alone. The aftershave smells much more apple like to my nose. I finished up the shave with some Samhain, which is of course Halloween/Pumpkin themed.

The hardware used was my "scariest" looking razor, and my most orange-adjacent (butterscotch) brush.

Here is my Halloween carving. I tried to make a jack-o-lantern, but it was trickier with a DE due to the width of the blade. If I were to do it again, Id use something narrower like an Artist Club. Anyway, I lit a paper towel inside on fire because I don't have any tea candles on hand, but considering what I had at my disposal and not being able to leave my apartment due to Covid, I'm really happy with how it came out!
