- Brush: Chisel & Hound Fougère 26mm v16 Fanchurian Badger Knot
- Razor: Union 5/8 Full Hollow Square Point #STR8SNOB
- Lather: Catie's Bubbles - Florentine Fern - Cream
- Post Shave: Catie's Bubbles - Blugère - Aftershave Lotion
- Fragrance: Southern Witchcrafts - Fougère Nemeta - Eau de Parfum
I'm a sucker for fougère scents, and CB has two of my favorites. The herbal take on the fougère from Florentine Fern and the fruit-forward impression from Blugère. To finish everything off, Nemata provided just the right balance.
CB's lather also provided a great place to start for the straight razor shave. I'm still trying to get comfortable with shaving with an open blade. While not a bad shave, I still struggle to get as close a shave as I would like.
With a straight razor and fougère in play,
I shaved like a pro, no delay.
But my hand shook with fright,
And I nicked myself right,
Now I've got a new scar on display!
