- Brush: Rubberset 400-3 #Hollow
- Razor: Victoria 4 (6/8", half hollow, round tip, carbon steel)
- Lather: Australian Private Reserve – Raconteur
- Post Shave: Siliski Soaps – Unscented
- Fragrance: Stirling Soap Co. – Pharaoh's Dreamsicle
Theme: APR went out of business when its owner passed away a few years ago.
Relevant post & frag: All items in this shave are some degree of RIP in Pieces. Siliski soaps has stopped making wetshaving products, but are still in business. Stirling has retired Pharaoh's Dreamsicle, but are still producing a lot of other wetshaving products. Victoria has stopped making razors at some point and changed its name to Victorinox in 1909 (the maker of the Swiss army knife). Rubberset finally never really went out of business, but was bought by Williams in 1956 and stopped producing shave brushes.
Challenge: The straight felt a bit harsh, so I corked it. To my eternal surprise, it didn't help.
