  • Brush: Omega Pro 49, red handle (10049)
  • Razor: Timeless ALSB45
  • Blade: Gillette Rubie (23)
  • Lather: Noble Otter - Joker
  • Post shave: Spearhead Shaving Company - Seaforth! Spiced
  • Fragrance: Chatillon Lux - Lavande Poivre

Joker is a well-blended scent, but when I open the tub, and also when lathered up, the cardamom pops out to greet me. I, at least, find it a prominent note in this scent. ... I guess we'll see, if the djudges agree. I'd say the sandalwood is also fairly prominent; it's what I notice after the cardamom. Honestly, the rest of it is pretty well blended to my nose, and as I often complain, I can't always pick out specific notes. Just two, here.

What better to follow a spicy shave than Spearhead's Seaforth! Spiced? Indisputably spicy, I also love the citrus in the opening here. I think I also like the aldehydes? I may need that perfumery class to understand exactly which notes those contribute. And I finished off the scents today with the peppery, lavendery, Lavande Poivre. Hopefully a fitting tribute to spicy notes.

On today's challenge to talk about your hobbies, I'm a very casual hobbyist, I think. I'm occasionally casually into running, but I've kinda dropped it this year. I'm casually into cooking... but I've been making mostly just variations on tacos this year. Have you tried beet tacos with mustard? I found this surprisingly good. Much better than the turnip tacos; while I like the alliteration there, they're just not that good. I love listening to music, but haven't picked up an instrument since I was 13 or 14. That probably doesn't qualify as a hobby. I suppose I might qualify as a casual gamer, but I probably haven't played what you have. I'm also a bit into weird health-related stuff... mostly centered around diet, nutrition, and things like fasting. I guess I'm a little all over the place.
