SOTD 2024-06-11 What is it? Well...It's green

• Brush: Semogue 2020 Best Badger
• Razor: Karve Overlander (copper)
• Blade: Dorco - Prime (1st use)
• Lather: Declaration Grooming - Vernal
• Post Shave: Henri et Victoria - Absinthe

!R!<eally, Declaration Grooming could have just written:
!I!<t smells like a soap that rhymes with "Shmirish Spring".
!P!<retty sure that was the scent they were going for anyway.

!J!<ust a whiff of this soap and you'll know it's a "spring" scent.
!A!<nd it doesn't fool anyone with it's colour: It's bright green.
!M!<aybe there is some tomato leaf, some spices, other stuff;
!E!<ven maybe "sweet grass", whatever that is.
!S!<mells distinctly like the soap to me; I used it all my childhood.

!D!<idn't have a green brush, but there's verdigris forming on my razor;
!O!<f course verdigris is green!
!O!<h and I naturally had to choose Absinthe as a splash;
!H!<aven't you heard it's known as "la fée verte" (the green fairy).
!A!<nyhoo, the soap works well like all of their soaps.
!N!<ot one of my favourite scents though, so I've not used it till now.
