Vetiver SOTD:

• Razor: Above the Tie Atlas S1
• Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (13)
• Brush: Zenith Moar Boar
• Lather: Summer Break Soaps - Recess
• Aftershave: Summer Break Soaps - Recess
• Fragrance: Summer Break Soaps - Trouble Maker

I've used vetiver in a few scents throughout the years, but only featured it in one, Recess. Unfortunately, Recess is without a doubt, the biggest flop I've ever had. With Recess, I tried to take some of the off the wall, unique stuff that made Cannonball a hit, but go in an entirely different direction with notes such as clay and cement. The goal was to smell like a playground. Honestly, I'm still very happy with the result and I know Recess has some fans out there, what killed this release was that it was paired up with the return of Cannonball, which had spent a year in retirement. Cannonball completely overshadowed it on release and it just never recovered.
