They say "Third Time's a Charm". Well, they also say "Bad Luck Comes in Threes", and bad describes today's lather. It was better than yesterday, but it still sucked. It'd be easy to blame Rumble, but after practicing soap-loading after the shave, I noted that the v20 gel tips retained water even after flicking the brush vigorously a dozen time. I hadn't factored this into my hydration levels during lather-building and I suspect that's why my lather was getting overhydrated, especially during the second and third passes. I will need to rethink my lather-building process. Happy shaving and have a wonderful day.
