2023-07-23 Lather Games SOTD

  • Brush: SHAVE⭐DANDY Maple Baritone (26x55mm Synth)
  • Razor: Schick Injector L1 (1967-1972)
  • Blade: Schick Injector (21)
  • Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Sandpiper - Soap
  • Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Sandpiper - Final 7 drops from an aftershave splash sample
  • Fragrance: Yves Saint Laurent - La Nuit de l'Homme

I only spent about a year wearing fragrances in public before Covid-19 turned my job into a work-from-home position, so I am rarely in the presence of other humans who aren't my family members. With that limiting factor in mind I shall say: the only scent that has ever garnered unprompted compliments (from people outside my family) has been La Nuit de l'Homme. My favorite example was from one of the few rare days where I was actually working at the office... one of our big managers stopped dead in her tracks and double back to my cubicle to ask what smelled so good. She told me it smelled like spiced cookies and fancy lavender. I'm surprised she could even smell it, considering the thick haze of rosy perfume that always surrounds her.

Anyway my wife hates this stuff and it's wicked hot out today so this was a bad idea.
