July 11, 2023 – LD #11

• Brush: Muninn Woodworks purple burl AP Shave Co. 24mm MiG
• Razor: Karve CB SB-B
• Blade: Gillette Nacet (3)
• Lather: Summer Break Soaps – Cannonball!
• Post Shave: Declaration Grooming – Nightman

Today was a bright and refreshing shave. I don’t think there is a soap that hits the theme more than SBS Cannonball! Explicitly marketed as a summer scent? Check – “creating a unique and complex scent that is truly perfect for summer” Citrus? Check – “initial burst of of Pineapple and Orange” Aquatic? Check – “quickly cut by the scents of Water, Ozone, and Chlorine” I was enjoying myself so much I made the rare third pass. Easy choice to pair as well, Nightman is metholated like Cannonball! and the lime compliments the citrus well.

I learned my lesson to not wait until last minute to post yesterday. I had a poop my pants moment when /u/Marquis90 commented ”Emergency” on my post that didn’t have a lather.
