It's a hard to swallow pill, but it needs to be said: Wildcard Wednesday is the most cowardly day on the Lather Games calendar.
I know it's all the rage to celebrate the outlandish things people find to lubricate their mugs for today's shave, but all I see are a bunch of lily-livered scaredy cats.
You shaved with motor oil? Coward.
You shaved with peanut butter? Coward.
You shaved with dog slobber that you've been collecting in a jar for the last 6 months? Low down dirty dog coward.
On Wildcard Wednesday we see the lengths some people will go to to avoid even the possibility of losing a fraction of a point off their precious Lather Games score and I name that cowardice. The brave shavers are the ones showing up here shaving with easy-to-get scents from popular brands. Real shavers see Wildcard Wednesday on the calendar and reach for their everybody-has-it Barrister and Mann or Stirling. Real shavers dare someone to beat them to the punch.
So what's it gonna be folks? Are you gonna step up on Wildcard Wednesday and lather up your Chiseled Face or are you going to be a little punk and hide behind that hyper-local ranch dressing you got at the farmer's market last week that you're certain nobody else on the sub even owns?
