My life has gotten really busy of late, so I've not had much time to be active here or on discord, or really focus on Austere August.
As such, I've had a number of really shitty shaves this month, because I'm not good with a straight, and I've been rushing them a lot of days.
Today I got a chance to shave during nap time for the kids, which definitely helped give me some more time to focus. A much better but still not good shave resulted.
I'm not sure I'll ever really love straight razor shaving. My Blackbird is mocking me from the counter. But I'll persevere.
