The brush is lathering nicely. It's not as soft as more premium boars, or even the 610. But, it's not really scrubby, either. The backbone is on the lower side, but has been working well for face lathering. It's getting to the point where it gels and stays open a bit. I loaded to a count of 40 this shave. That left some excess lather. I could probably load a little less, but I'd rather be able to make a decent lather with some left over than have it be thin. I have the rest of the month to experiment.
