Declaration Grooming's Chaotic Neutral is a nice tea and woods scent, to my nose. Declaration writes that the notes are, "in no particular order:" amber, oak, cardamom, patchouli, black tea, sandalwood, bourbon, tobacco, clary sage. Man, some kind of "sage" sure does show up in a lot of things. I also can't pick that out here. I think I can find the bourbon, and maybe a hint of tobacco. But mostly this is woods & tea.
I followed this up with a coffee (and leather) splash, Leviathan. I do like how the coffee comes out in the splash. Finally, another tea scent, Storybook Soapworks' Visions & Revisions perfume (with a handwritten label, as this was bought in the final closeout sale, presumably all the regular labels were already used). As Storybook is long gone, I resorted to the Internet Archive to get the notes: bergamot, orange, and lemon on top of a dark black tea and earthy lavender base, Visions & Revisions was intended to be a "citrusy Early Grey" scent.
So then I made myself a cup of Earl Grey. The perfume isn't quite the same; Twinings is a less floral Earl Grey, but the perfume does go well with the tea.
