The Spice of Life...that's the translation of this Catie's Bubbles name. It's a sweet scent that features spice notes. I generally use this one around Thanksgiving and Christmas as it reminds me of the scents that go along with those holidays. As usual, Catie's Bubbles delivers a great shave.

Onto hobbies!

I'm into a few. I play video games, but I wouldn't exactly consider myself a gamer...just an enjoyer. I also am trying not to suck at playing guitar, but I wouldn't consider myself a guitarist or musician. I appreciate, but don't really participate in those communities. For communities I do participate in...I'm somewhat of a gearhead and I'm into cars (both the vehicles and the movies). I also bike (Mountain and Road). I'm a member of the Overlanding for the Poors group on Facebook.

Here's my rig https://imgur.com/a/LYvdzRj It's a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I've got a 3" Iron Rock lift on with some slightly oversized All Terrain tires on. I use it to go camping, haul my bikes to trails, and move stuff around (think trips to the dump). I had to fix a bunch of stuff on it when I bought it (transmission issues, water pump, ac, some wiring issues), but with almost 180k on it, it runs pretty good now. Even if it leaks from the output shaft seal a little. I've slept in it, gotten to some amazing camping sites that required a 4x4 to get to, strapped my canoe on the top, and done quite a bit of soft roading in it. It's been great! For the community aspect, we have great respect for those that use their rigs...and greater respect for those that don't have tons of money in their rigs to get the same thing done. Think of that new $50k Tacoma that's got a $3k rooftop tent and another $10k worth of modifications and gear strapped all over it...and where'd you see it? Target. You saw it at target. And it was clean too. Why? Well, that's because the guy either goes camping once a year or might go camping at some point in the next 2 years. He drives that thing around to look like he uses it...but probably doesn't. Poser.

On the bike front...I put more miles on my road bike than my mountain bike these days, but my mountain bike is better than the road bike. I'm in another group called Pathetic Mountain Bikers. We have pillars of our community that we call Dentists. These are novices, much like myself that have all the best gear. Keep in mind that it's pretty easy to spend $5k on a good bike....and their bikes generally cost more than that. It's also not that they can't ride...they can...but they ride just as well as I do on my setup that runs about 20% or less than what they're taking to the trail.

I guess I just like being an underdog.

Have a great day folks!
