Fremen Friday…..

Bay Rum is my “Spice” favorite. I like the variety of options one can get by modifying one of the key spices in the “Bay Rum” family.

This Chiseled Face Ti razor is just amazing. I thought about picking up the Aluminum version, but they all sold out and I really don’t need it.

Moving on to our "other" hobby....

My wife is from Northern California. Sonoma County, to be exact. Early in our courtship, we traveled to wine country and fell in love.

We also joined a few wine clubs and continued to travel to Sonoma, Napa, Monterey, Santa Barbara counties in California. My wife also has relatives in Oregon, and her company is based in Portland, so you know we've visited the Willamette Valley too, dammit!

Anyway, along the way, we've picked up a lot of wine. Yes, a lot.... Our Basement Cellar contains these 5 wine coolers. Each one of these holds about 200 bottles, except for the one without glass, which holds 300. We also have a very nice display cooler upstairs where the stuff that's ready to drink is kept. If you do the math, we have roughly 1300 bottles of wine in our "cellars". The majority of the wines are Pinot Noir, with rest roughly made up of equal parts Cabernet, Rhône's, Red Zinfandel, and Chardonnay.

We have a rough "plan" that we want to have enough wine, when we retire in about 9 years, to have enough wine to last us until we die.... :-)
