It’s a Boonana Day all around!
Ah, let's delve into the intriguing scent of Southern Witchcrafts - Boonana, a fragrance that's as complex as it is captivating, perfect for the autumn season.
As I opened the jar of Boonana soap, I was greeted by the sweet, ripe aroma of bananas that are maybe two or three days past their prime. Like the overly ripe bananas that you’d use to make banana bread. But there's more to it than meets the eye (or nose) with this soap. Mixed within are subtle hints of florals, adding a touch of elegance and depth. Yet, it's the undertones of bourbon and musk that truly transform this friendly, potassium filled-fruit into something enigmatic.
As I lathered up, the spicy accords start to reveal themselves, intertwining with the banana to create a warm, inviting scent that's reminiscent of a cozy autumn evening. Beyond the banana, there’s an air carrying a hint of spice and a whisper of something enchanting. The Boonana Splash takes the experience further. The dark and spicy notes came alive on my skin, mingling with the floral and banana elements to create a harmonious blend that's both comforting and alluring. The alcohol free splash felt amazing on my skin and left my face feeling great for the rest of the day. And finally, the Boonana fragrance itself. This is where the complexity reaches its peak, a symphony of dark accords, spicy warmth, and the lingering sweetness of banana. Combined together, there is an aire of sophistication wrapped in an autumnal embrace. Hats off to Southern Witchcrafts for creating a unique banana scent that is both a novelty and an extremely wearable scent.
Challenge: I looked at the produce I had in my kitchen and spotted my victim. Behold! The Haunted Mango! Never carved a face in a mango before and might never again, so I made sure to treasure this special moment. I kind of wish I had a banana in my kitchen, to complete the theme of the shave, but alas, I just had mangos.
