Spring is in the air with this set. If you don’t believe me, the artisan themselves calls this “A Perfect Springtime Scent”. I point this out because having the word tobacco in the name does this scent a great disservice, IMHO. This is based on the fragrance of the flowering tobacco plant, not the tobacco that people smoke or use in fragrances. The scent highlights green tobacco flower, oakmoss, lavender, and rosemary. It’s a very green forward scent and perfect for springtime. A little more floral than I would typically enjoy, but nice for a day like today.
To finish, I spritzed on Liz Claiborne’s Curve. This classic fragrance is the perfect complement to the Tobacco Flower’s bright elegance. Curve’s blend of aromatic notes—spicy, woody, and slightly sweet—adding a layer of complexity to the scents of the shave. It’s a scent that has a certain charm about it and is perfect for a day where I wanted to smell like spring, but not TOO floral.
Challenge: Color Coordinated! I picked up in this antique brass brush because its color complements the razor and weathered brass accents of the Tobacco Flower and Curve labels… But it needs a new knot desperately! I soaked and washed it as best as I could but it is awful. Like, really, really, really bad. It’s only redeeming quality is it made the picture coordinated.
photocontest – no theme. I just want to enter to the best photo part.
