With Lakewood soap's Lard Lass: Two Weeks With Pay The first ingredient listed? Yup - Lard! No beef follows. Even stearic acid is relegated to fourth on the list.

Lard, water, shea butter, stearic acid, potassium hydroxide, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, fragrance.
Post Shave:
Pulled out the alum block (no, not a block of such high station as Osma) so never having driven a Rolls Royce so to speak I cannot extol the virtues...but it did it's job giving me two small pings one one my neck and one under my left nostril. Neither cut visible but just reminding me of where I need to better mind my manners with a sharp small peice of steel.
