Precision Load; Face Lather; WTG/ATG/Cleanup Passes; BBS Result; 28th Consecutive / 302nd Overall SOTD Post
Did a 14-hour growth shave to finally get myself realigned with the SOTD posting schedule. With this third quick turn shave in a row, indications of irritation appeared on my upper cheeks and lower chin during my first pass. Even though I thought my lather was acceptable, on a whim I decided to hand lather the second pass and while doing so added a palm-full of water while hand-lathering. To my surprise the lather exploded, and I had the slickest lather I had ever produced. Throwing caution to the wind, I proceeded with ATG and cleanup passes with no further signs of irritation noted. I will need to experiment further to see if I can successfully repeat today's lather results. If I can, my shaving journey will take a huge step forward. Happy shaving and have a wonderful day.
