Field Day is, IMHO, a nearly perfect example of today’s theme…
In the late 60’s and early 70’s the end of the school year always had some sort of “Field Day”. It was “normally” the short week after Memorial Day. Three-legged races, egg tosses, wheelbarrow races were all the rage. But it was outside, in the early Spring, in Ohio, and often those days had rain delays and thunderstorms.
Had I not used this, Rope Swing would have worked well too.
Rope Swing reminds me of those lazy days spent floating down the Mad River with a 6-pack of “Old Milwaukee” tied to the tube. We did that a lot during the Spring Quarter of 1983 and 1984. :-)
One of the things I appreciate the most about Kyle’s creations is they have been able to take me back to special times, and special places, and most importantly, lots of special memories….
The Razor is my birth quarter Super Speed Adjustable. I used this razor for an abortive Austere August last year. I’m still not crazy about the weight, but the Tech is my favorite and I prefer a lighter weight.
Finally, the brush is “well travelled” in the fact that it went all over the country with me in 2021, including a trip to Maui….
