I was excited to see the spring theme because Mountain Laurel was my spring purchase this year after asking in the daily questions thread, “What’s your favorite springtime scent”. And here we are. Also, state flower (Pennsylvania). Also the first time I smelled a soap and on first lather was transported to a place I knew, the springtime wet forests in the Poconos. Contemplation was also suggested in the same thread and I ended up snatching that up of the bazaar, and while its said to be squarely a summer scent, it truly is a great clean grassy complement. Oh and surprise surprise the base for Mountain Laurel is done by non other the spotlighted sponsor, Summer Break Soaps. Cool coincidence.
Science wise, I soaked the badger for an entire 5 minutes while I puttered around for an entire 5 minutes. Meh, I couldnt tell a difference compared to my minute or two soak usually. Also I like to do everything in 5's, and odds, its weird. Science. Heres a photo of some Mountain Laurels on my local trail.
