Don't have a cow, man. Or a pig, or duck, or buffalo, or deer, or donkey, or horse, or worm, or goat, or chicken... has anyone used beaver fat in shaving soap? Don't have a beaver either, man. Just murder those fruits and vegetables. Today's shave was brought to you by the cruel crushing of many nuts, the dastardly dismemberment of fruit, and the senseless slaughter of leaves.

I therefore also selected a synthetic brush, using the fine G5C knot from AP Shave Co, in a "raspberry" ebonite handle. After the shave, I picked a splash and perfume from another company selling vegan products, Talent Soap Factory.

I dunno that anyone markets "vegan" razors, but I'm pretty sure no animals were harmed in the making of Karve's Christopher Bradley... it's also probably the closest to the dominant label color on the soap.

It was a quite nice two pass shave, although I did carelessly open one very small weeper on my neck in first pass, alas. Then, I also completely forgot about the challenge by the time I started my shave. I was using both sides of the DE, to my detriment.

It also turns out this is a pretty interesting scent combination. I didn't plan it, but it kinda works. I may have to try this out again after the Games are over... as much as I dislike the alcoholic splash, I do like the scents.

I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!
