Today I came to find out that I have several soaps that have patchouli notes, but really only one that features patchouli prominently. La Terre Verte doesn't disappoint though. The patchouli is an undertone until you lather the soap, then it steps out front and center. No issues with the shave as I really enjoy Catie's Bubbles lathering prowess.
Onto the song. It's come to my somber realization that I've reached the age where my formerly "New Alternative" tastes are now considered classic rock. I decided to shave with an old favorite of mine, and in true Hipster fashion, you've probably never heard of them. Jump, Little Children released their album Magazine in the late 90s. There were two singles on the album, Cathedrals and Come Out Clean. If you've heard JLC before, it was probably Cathedrals, which is a beautiful piece. I like Come Out Clean quite a bit more though. My favorite line in the song is "Don't try and bring me down, 'cause you know I won't go, I don't give a damn about it anymore. I won't go." As the kids say, the whole album slaps. Give it a listen.
Have a great day folks.
