Hurrah, hurrah. Today is the 3rd anniversary of me starting wetshaving. It's marked on my calendar for some reason.
What's a similarly important yearly event? The birth of Jesus Christ, duh. When that little dude was born, 3 kings brought him gifts, because they were nice dudes and they probably wanted to be on Jesus' good side. Frankincense and Myrrh were among the offerings.
For the daily theme, well you can't spell Frankincense without "incense". The fragrantica page for incense mentions Myrrh specifically before the article starts to fade away because I'm not logged in. So there's that.
Relevant post shave and fragrance: Frankie & Myrna is a gorgeous scent, and even the dumbest judge can figure out why it's related to Frankincense and Myrrh. What else goes along with the birth of Jesus? Christmas! Santa! Santa Noir!
I dropped the ball and used a Micromatic Clog-Pruf, when I could have used my Gillette Slim Adjustable, which was my first DE razor. Oh well.
