Did a bunch of new to me items. Never used Angora Soaps. It actually lathered well. Got it on clearance from the TRC. I think they are out of business already. The scent seems basic and not sweet. The boar seems really old. Definitely unused and boy that smell! The razor is new to me. My parents got a Micro Touch One they found at a garage sale. It came with Dorco blades that I’ve never used. Not the worst shave but doable. I’ve never used the Proraso Splash. It’s ok.

Cremo brush and cream was from Target. Assured Razor and the “After Shave” was from Dollar Tree. The splash is a cheap Aqua Velva clone and it is literally called After Shave. The brush is scritchy. The cream is alright. The razor and blade is trash.

My basic original scent would be lavender and cedar and maybe some syth menthol. I had a bar soap that I believe had that a similar basic scent.

Not sure if I will ever see the bottom. Anyways here’s my related question.

A nice coffee trickhole for today. The soap is more gourmand. I prefer the splash and frag as it seems to have less of the cocoa/vanilla sweetness. The F-400 is a 34mm brush with a 65mm loft. It’s stupidly huge. The iKon is a agressive beast. All the gear makes for a nice matching photo. No kitchen shave today.

Pulled out my Fine Accoutrements bowl since I face lather. It’s a solid bowl from a few years ago. I use it with samples mainly. Coconut Oil is the FIRST ingredient on this old tub. Tons of fluff. The soap scent is almost gone from the years. Aftershave is nice. Just got in the Barbaros. Nice shave that reminds me of my Chiseled Face Ti. The Omega has a 28mm synth knot that everyone says is the same/similar as the APShaveCO G5A knot. That knot is $31. The MSRP of this first gen Omega EVO brush was over $80.

Dusted off Frankie and Mryna. Never actually used it due to not enjoying the scent of the puck. Upon lathering it became super mellow and relaxing. Not quite the incense I recall in church as a kid but in the same realm. Speaking of relaxing… I got the Zoolander song stuck in my head when I was thinking about how relaxing the shave went.

Nice against the grain shave. The Baili was forgiving. It did not choose violence. SMdF has a nice menthol kick perfect for summer. It’s an older tub with the not so waterproof label. The soap is grainy. But it works. It’s one of the earliest trickholes I picked up in wetshaving.

It feels super duper great to save soo much money. Got the Semogue for like $10 bux on amazon a few years ago. The Old Type was probably a nickel or something silly when it came out. Got the Astra 100 pack under $10 bux. It’s $8.44 right now on amazon. Everyone knows Stirling is the leader in artisan pricing. I got this Trifecta on clearance on a whim. It’s underrated.

Had to sneak in some PAA. This old tub is pretty much scentless now. The splash has chunks of something in it. Maybe beard crumbs. Scent: Dragons Blood, (Mysore) Sandalwood, Indonesian Oud (Agarwood), Benzoin, Tonka, Linaloe Wood, Spruce Hemlock, Amyris and Tobacco Absolute.
