    Day 2 of the Lather Games. So far so good, thanks to a lot of help from the other competitors. Not many places help the other guy out like we do. I won the GEM in a pif. Special thanks to /u/ginopono. I really wanted to not like this razor. I kinda get set in my ways. But following his instructions I got a great shave. I could see this razor becoming part of the rotation.

    Awesome sunday morning shave. First time using Crown and & Crane. The green tea sent was for sure there. I have a very insensitive nose but also picked up scent of citrus. The lather was really rich and foamy. The shave was very slick.

    Against my better judgement I shaves in the kitchen. Took a portable mirror in there so I could see what I was doing. Good shave, but definitely missed the big mirror and the bright lights.

    I bought this Tub of Arko to use in the lather games. Pretty sure I will never use it again. Smelled a lot lot kerosene. I think my bathroom could erupt in flames anytime. In all fairness I am a terrible face latherer, but this lathered up on my face like a champ.

    The glacial spearmint soap was very cooling. Awesome soap for a summer shave. I was a feather guy for a while now, But got some razor samples and really digging this Bic. Great cup of black rifle coffee!

    I failed today's challenge. Couldn't bring myself to shave my legs. But I did have a very nice shave with the Chiseled Face Banana. The scent is very banana forward. Really like the scent. I could see this making its way into my daily rotation.

    I go the Clubman Citrus Musk sample and while not really on point scent wise I sure like it.

    And I need a little guidance from u/Enndeege. What the heck is this scrub thing I keep seeing?

    Sitting in a motel out of town this week. Trying to decide which shaving soap to use so someone else didn't already use it. As I was showering, I thought why not use this Lacourse bar soap. Surprisingly enough a very pleasant shave. Had good lather and very slick. Am I ready to give up my regular stuff, no but still a good shave.

    When I travel I usually throw in my Pinaud Clubman. As I was unpacking my bag last night I noticed I forgot it. So I made a run to Walmart. Among the weak offerings I noticed the Aqua Velva. My dad always kept some of this on the shelf. Kinda like finding an old friend. As I splashed it on this morning it brought back memeories of Dad.

    The Castle Forbes is a great soap. Great lather and very cushioning. But the lavender scent in this soap is not very forward.

    Bought this soap in a group of soaps on the zar a while back. Hate to admit it but I am so congested right now, so I can't smell anything. But the lather was very nice and very cushioning.
