I bought this soap over a month ago and have wanted to use it everyday since but saved it for this very occasion. This soap was made especially for the Gentleman's Groom Room by Wickham Soap Co. Both of which I've not only never used but never heard of. If you like berry scents I highly recommend it. Looking forward to a full month of themed shaves with all of you. Day 1 in the books of my first Lather Games!

When it comes to vegan shave soap I would argue that Southern Witchcrafts is among the very best. Druantia is really good, not as good as Pomona or Samhain but another solid offering from a solid artisan.

I love amaretto so the sweet almond coming off this Captain's Choice Italia was just what I was looking for. Like lathering up some Disaronno.

A perfect excuse to use a one note floral sample that I got in a sample pack but had no desire to use. It smells like roses and roses smell like old lady. Behold the Whatsis covers it up nicely though.

This was the day of Lather Games I was looking forward to the least and that's even with me shaving with old lady scented soap yesterday. So how do I get a little joy out of it? By pairing my most expensive post shave balm with mass produced canned goop.

Double Behold The Whatsis makes for a much better shave than canned goop. In other news this was the last of my viking revolution blades that I honestly was not a fan of at all especially in this razor.

Ariana & Evans is quickly becoming one of my favorite soap bases it's so slick it's crazy. And Dirty Ginger is there best scent. The ginger is strong but not overwhelming. Delightful shave

This is a good soap but I have to say, and feel free to call me wrong in the replies, the milksteak base is just too soft. I always scoop my soaps and pressing milksteak in my copper bowl just feels like trying press wet cookie dough that sticks to your fingers. I'm particular about how things feel on my hands so maybe this is just a weird me thing but it's just not my jam.

The most musical soap I have on hand, we're all fascinated by death and countless artists have referenced the so called "dance of death". As for the soap itself I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's floral with a kind of spicy cologne undertone. Certainly interesting and as with all HAGS labels it's one of the coolest out there.

Quite possibly the best summer soap out there. All I have to say on the subject

I complained that Declaration Grooming has too soft of a base that I hate scooping and pressing into my bowl. I will always make an exception for Massacre of the Innocents. It's amazing. Incense, spicy, woody and reminiscent of a cologne a friend of mine wore in high school. I'm a big fan. My sample is almost gone and I can't help myself, I have to buy a tub.

Frigid Friday

Almost shaved with Cryogen today but if it's frigid Friday then I gotta go with the best cooling soap of them all. Orbit is my soap that I would choose if I could only use one for life.

Man do I love shaving with Southern Witchcrafts. Man is this soap definitely not for me. Great shave though
