Ave Priusaurius morituri the salutant! last year you didn't get very far, but I hope you do better this year. Day 2 and after yesterday first trying shavette today I'll try for first time Aylsworth Apex. Friend from my shaving club borrowed it for Lather games and because my friend Lyubo from "Shave and tell" shavetube chanel asked me more then hundred times when I'll try it and what I think about it. So today was another "first try". He test it in same time my favorite Mühle R41. In conclusion I'll stick with main he with Apex. Bulgarian lesson 2 or how to swear if judges don't give you desire points and they still love you.

I have Osma. A 5 of them. Just like every Bulgarian I must be opposition. It is stupid Balkan part of the character but I am obligated 🤷‍♂️. And because I have to write something for today challenge. If I use Osma I can't write this unnecessary sentences. Love you u/OnionMiasma ...... forgive me. But if you remember last year i have this suspicion that Osma make blocks for Bluebeards.
For today shave I'll use Razorock Game changer .84. Definitely one of the best safety razors. Cost/quality Razorock is unbeatable. I use it more and more often. From last year i reduced my safety razors. Now I call them Holly Trinity. Razorock Lupo .95OC , Game Changer .84 and Mühle R41. And add few straight razors.

You might be interested to introduce you this brand Bundubeard" from South Africa. Member of my shaving club found them. Jako (owner of Bundubeard) introduced the scent near to famous "Brut" but I'll be honest with you base is the real treasure here. Sheep tallow base. One of the best maybe the best I ever use! The scent is not so strong. The smell of base is feeling more and prevailed. But if you are one of this guys that quality of the soap is more important definitely have to try it. I am not one of them but still I am fan. Amazing slickness, foam density and cushion. Not easy to break. And of course blade is sliding like "between legs of horny college girl".

After this shaving I smell like Granny. When I was young fragrance lilac and rose ( of course we have a lot of famous and expensive Bulgarian rose oil) was the most popular scents and I associated this with old lady. This year in Lather games I have few critical days and this is one of them. About today challenge "favorite base" i like this brands and their soaps Gentleman's Nod ( love the base and scents) , Barrister and Mann, Spearhead, First line shave, Southern Witchcraft (only Carpathia but their base is amazing), Chiseled face, Stirling, MacDuff's, But to be honest this South African artisan Bundubeard that i use yesterday make amazing base (sheep tallow)! Really impressed me. Like I say yesterday Boomslang not impressed with scent by other "LEMOENBOSSIE & APPEL" and "CHERRY VS BERRY" have preaty good fragrance! Yesterday we talk about it with u/cowzilla3 about the base and I promised video how I try to break it. Sorry about this crappy video bro but today I am in a hurry. Fast shaving and crappy video. This is one of this days but that's because this damn lilac.

User creates "Milk" out of Bundabeard soap (as a follow up to yesterdays shave) because he uses so much water and claims that it still shaves great and is really slick. Even with a tiny amount of soap.

Because I an born in communist era "Denim" brand was a luxury item. Bulgaria was isolated and not everyone can have it. After the regime fеll and beard and moustaches start growing I bought cream and aftershave Denim Original. Now I am not a big fan. You can shave it of course with it but with all this artisan soaps that I have I literary not using it. But fits perfect for today requirements. You can buy it in every grocery now. This year in Lather Games I'll test Karve plates to choose which one I'll like it most and buy Karve safety razor. Today I tested OC-D. Amazing performance. Two passes and BBS! But I feel alum block. Maybe it's my fault. Next I'll try OC-C. Lathering in bowl and occasionally on face. Now I have to choose more interesting part of my body to impress judges.

Its pleasure to use today this mentholated soap. Is very hot here and to be honest i used it only summer accompanied with real gin and tonic. My favorite gin is Bombay Sapphire and actually the only gin I drink. Karve The Christopher Bradley OC-C is today choice. I felt D plate more aggressive but very efficient. Last year i looking for more aggressiveness and now i try to find most efficient shaving with least blade feel and aggressiveness. Open comb is always be my true love! It was really nice shave ! Perform very well ! I am OK I am OK!!!! Just watch this шибано challenge video.

I told you in day 4 that a have a few critical days in this month and today is the worst. Vetiver. I hate this scent! In combination with other scents is OK but when is only vetiver or prevails I really don't like it. So quick shave before work two passes against the grain to fulfilled challenge and that's it. Even photo is made in the middle of the night on the hood of my car on u/MrTangerinsky backpack. He give me samples from soap and aftershave. After yesterday massacre my choice for safety razor is Mühle R89. If I have a choice I'll pick Feather AS-D2 the most gentle safety razor I've tried. But R89 is gentle enough to make two carefully and gentle passes and not bleeding. That is for today I am not in the mood.

After yesterday today is Haven! Amazing soap! Amazing base! Amazing scent!!! I love it! I still hold on to my last year's statement that Will force little Angeles to shit in jars and label it for Maggard to put blame on them so when the Judgment day come his hand to be clean. About today challenge...... Hahahaha guys .... for us in Bulgaria every order from USA or Canada is adventure, risk, gambling and a lot of efforts and not on last place is pricy! It's not Maggard or other stores or artisans fault. They are great! Always ready to help and give us support! We have expensive shipping and taxes that make price of soap triple. And this is easy part. Aftershaves is pain in the ass. They just don't ship them. The shipping companies refuse to deliver alcohol and we can order only non alcohol aftershaves. So I have this aftershave waiting months some of my friends in USA to come back and bring it with him. There is companies that charge big percent to deliver. So if soap and aftershave is about 50$ they come to us about 90-100$ (average salary is about 900$). And this is the reason not so many people in our country to use north American artisan soaps. Only big fans and I am proud to say that most of them are in our with u/MrTangerinesky shave club. And on top of that your package can be lost or broken and you start acting like Sherlock Holmes searching on long long chain when, where and what is happened. My first attempt to have Angelique aftershave was unfortunate. My friends was going to vacation in Las Vegas and they agreed to help me to take two bottles. But package was lost and I have to make investigation from 10 000 kilometers distance by phone. Maggard say we have information that package is delivered. My friends say we check every day and noting arrived and they come back in Bulgaria. Maggards say no problem return it and we will return your money. After two weeks looking ( phonnig) I find it in hotel lost items. Somebody from hotel miss to deliver in right time the package and my friends left the hotel they put them in lost items. I find some nice employee to return it back. So Horatio from CSI Miami can kiss my ass! Thank God second attempt was successful! That's why I order two Angelique bottles.

From all barber scents I ever tried I like this Ghost town on Chiseled face. But I have to chase points and for today I used Noble otter. And to be satisfied I'll use my favorite barbershop aftershave. This titanium Blackbird is absolute beauty!!! Handle and this open comb, perfect machining, titanium color ....all this make my eyes horny. But still can't beat my Holly Trinity by performance and blade chatter is a little bit much more then I like. Maybe if I have 3-4 day beard maybe I'll not gonna feel it so much but on my one day beard was very noticeable. And a bit pricy for my Bulgarian pocket. It's not gonna be my first choice but if someone gives it to me .... O boy yes I'll be very happy!

For today challenge hmmmmm...... u/OnionMiasma you crazy nerdy soap manic more close to autistic genus only you can make this quiz. 3 minutes just didn't known what to do and I left. Did I have to writing and where or I have to change places. But hey I don't put all blame on you brother I am not very sharp blade. And even if I figure it out how this works and what to do I'm old and my memory fail. And if I don't like one soap or brand I never try to remembered. So I am total disaster on this quiz. 0% at the end (coz I take it again) I find 3 soaps that I have in my collection. Carpathia, executive man, sea spice lime! What a loooooser! Shoot me please to release me from my misery.

That was late relaxing shave! Last year you guys moved Lather Games in July just when The Voice started in Bulgaria and I have so much work. This year The Voice started in June. I don't know is there any relation but you really try to make my life miserable. But I'm not give up! So after long day of shooting I poured some fine rum in crystal glass. Take my Bluetooth speaker Soundcore motion 300 in bathroom ( I use it all the time coz every time I shave my self and it's twice a week I listen music). Played some country music to match the ambience of soap. And enjoyed this amazing scent! Yes yes yes I know the scent is whisky and I drink rum! Yes I notice to! You are so anointing and not leaving me a moment of piece! I'm not whisky fan but this soap is best boozy scent ever! Big reverence to Black mountain and First Lane!!! I enjoyed every second on this masculine spa accompanied with Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson..... But if I have to put one song for this daily challenge will be this one. Yes I am so romantic have a nice evening! P.S. Little known fact: if you drink whisky from morning you are alcoholic BUT if you drink rum you are a pirate!!!

Horses running on green grass.... Morning sky ..... I'm sitting on the porch of wooden cabin.....drinking herbal tea!!! I paint this picture because the soap that I choose for today is so colorful and criteria for color matching is not so easy but that's why this games are! To try something more difficult and I didn't get shortcut with one color. That's why I get this horse brush with green handle to match the grass, my beloved Mühle R41 with wooden handle to match the cabin and R41 nickel head reflects yellow and blue of spring morning sky from lid picture like mountain lake. Even I listened Vivaldi "Spring" in bathroom. One of the most popular classical theme. Perfect morning to start your day! Have a nice day to 💈❤️

First i was thinking about TOBS but I'll use it for brand older then me and next cream that I have is this Reuzel. Nice brand and I known them from their beard care products that I use when I have long beard. It's ready to use no need for brush just using your hand. It's not bad if you are in hurry. I bought this cream before I was familiar with your north American artisans. Now this sits at the bottom of the cabinet waiting Lather Games. What is in this cabinet you can see on this video. There are pictures to more curious among you showing in more detail what I have. Pic 1.... Pic 2 ....Pic 3 .... Pic 4...On all this are soaps that after sniffing them I can't living without having it. In this summer hot days I use more and more often mentholated soaps and aftershaves. So it's pleasure to use Kryptonite having this WS-23 synthetic cooling agent. I like the scent very much. As a matter of fact my first choice for today will be "Terror" Barrister and Mann but i have only one small sample left. So PLEASE!!!! If someone here known Will personally PLEASE tell him to start make it again!!! At first I was thinking this challenge its gonna be easy but after hundreds missing heart beats and few micro heart attacks and minor cuts I successfully balanced my precious Wacker open on the top of balm bottle constantly moving. I even stop breathing to not interfere air flow. Finally everything is whole!

I really don't have near to end soap. I don't shave really often. So this soap is gift from u/NingenShikkaku000. He generous gives to a lot of people samples and I have half soap. So this is near to death in my collection. I love the brand its my favorite! Love the base and scents are awesome! I am big fan to Shinmen Takezō to. Known as Miyamoto Musashi. I am so glad that I have this soap for today challenge. I have to go with pasty sticky lather. The base of the soap is soft and I just spread on my face. Squeezed previously soaked badger and shake it hard. Lather on face and became so sticky paste but so silky. Razor was sliding like quarterback between legs of cheerleader.

Most of artisan that I know is younger then me so thank God I have this Tobacco leaf in my shaving goods cabinet. I don't know is here anyone that is not familiar with TOBS. If you are not you can Google it. They start in 19h sentry ..... Yes I am old but not that old that's why I pick them to be sure! Last year I have to explain to everyone why my legs are shaved. At firs I explained about Lather Games but after few days i was tiered of it and I was saying that I loose a bet. And here a go again. This time I'll start directly with lost bet. I don't know why do this (watching men's legs) to your self but you asked for it and I delivered. After 2 hours and 3 bowls of lather I was ready! Maybe you are wondering why I have so much safety razors in description? I started with Karve OC-B plate after a few strokes changed to OC-C plate and after few strokes I get cardinal decision and I take Lupo 95OC. Karve was effective but washing the hair was a bitch because of the teeth because of the "hooks". Lupo doesn't have it and was super easy to clean. And "Find out how the another side lives" is not so correct. After i finish I make a conversion with girl. She said that use shower gel to shave her legs when she take a shower and she is ready for less then 10 minutes ( and believe me she has a very long legs). She doesn't have so long hair on her legs. Not so dense and thick. Comparing my and her legs it's not fair. Even if my shaved legs are so sexy!

OP argues it's easier to shave his coarse leg hair than the woman he spoke to. Might be worth discussing if someone in the know can chime in. I've only shaved my legs once.

I love the Southern Witchcraft base. I am not so in this "tallow vs. Vegan" but I notice that I have more tallow base soaps. To be fair scent is the leading! Tallow or vegan if the base is good has no difference to me. SW soaps are supreme quality! And the reason that I have only one of their soaps is because this is the only scent that I like. But I love it! When I open the lid the aroma is bringing me back to my grandmother village house in the moment when I open the doors of old kitchen cabinet and the smell of all spices mixed through the years catch my nose. That's why this soap is so dear to me because brings precious memories and make them so vivid! This soap always will attend in my collection ( hope they not stop making it)!

This two days I feel like Kim Basinger peppering for shooting commercial.

My legs itching 🤬 In their wisdom judges put "knee day" after "leg day" because the view of long hair in lather is not so pleasant and they solidified my opinion they are pervert foot fetishists.

This was the first knee lather video I saw and I just found it hilarious. Also the point about knee day after leg day also made me laugh.

In W_E I participated in one discussion "Lupo vs Rocca vs Jagger 3one6" I am in Reddit for Lather Games. I didn't have experience with Jagger in that time and if I have to compare now: I don't liked Jagger to aggressive to me. Rocca I have it and sold it. It's little less efficient then R41 but a more gentle. I prefer Game Changer .84 then Rocca they are similar but i liked Changer more. Lupo .72 is more close to Rocca and Lupo .95OC is the safety razor if I have to pick only one for all of my life. Has R41 efficiency and is more gentle and missing blade chatter that R41 has. My Holly Trinity like I said is Lupo .95OC Game Changer .84 and R41. On this Lather Games I find Hanson +++ for great performer. Amazing efficiency and so gentle. I'll buy it very soon. P.S. All this is only my opinion because every one is different. We Have a difference in hair thickness, different skin feel and etc.

I make really nice shave! The famous u/MrTangerinsky give me Legacy to try it and I like it very much. Was a really sweet shave. Friend of our shaving club saved me for today "sugary" day. I make crazy u/USS-SpongeBob for this day and after I asked for a few soaps I pick totally different. But not is the only way that I misleading judges.

My Remus was given to one member of our shaving club to test it. This Chinese AC safety razor is a great every day shaver. So gentle but so efficient.

The only participant that I know in Lather Games is u/MrTangerinesky so I am on his mercy. Thank god he is generous and give me this Woodshop. Last year I really appreciated the aftershave scent. And I used With pleasure. I'll used on to on lumberjack fashion week.

About next sub exclusive.... Hmmmm ...... If I have to pick brands is Gentleman's Nod or Spearhead or Firs Line Shaving. But there is so much good brands to.

Old Bulgarian tradition is days around Christmas to slay a pig. When I was kid around bone fire and bloody snow my grandpa roasted a pieces of fresh sliced meet and I eat them. Amazing times! And today's brush is part pig. I don't like boar brushes and definitely prefer high quality synthetics. After that are silvertip badger.

The mood today and the Challenge......and yes all "toys" are real 😈

This shaving was like morning coffee on a hurry when you are late for work. And I almost did. I don't drink coffee but I have to say this scent makes me want some Irish one but more "Irish" then coffee. And that's why I choose my trusted R41! Two passes and I was ready. Top performer! And bye coz I have to work.

After every shave I clean my brush. Even in days like today in a rush. First I squeeze the lather from the knot and after that put running water until is clean. After in bowl (at running water to) I swirling like I make lather for a minute (in every few months I make this step with dish wash gel) and squeeze water. After that I swirling in towel to dry it. I don't care so much about handles. When I dish wash knot with toothbrush clean and handle to. ;))))))

P.S. I'll read other participants comments but I'm open for suggestions.

On day 15 I use Gentleman's Nod "Musashi". Today I'll use another soap "Kensei". Literal translation is sword saint and this title is been given to people with amazing skills with sword. Miyamoto Misashi has this title. This soap is totally worthy to be part of every Kensei shave.

Top: Blood Orange, Yuzu, Yellow Mandarin, Nashi Pear

Mid: Lapsang Souchong Tea, Neroli, Violet, Black Pepper

Dry: Saffron, Cedarwood, Fir Balsam, Amberwood, Vetiver, Cypriol

And I choose Tatara blade to fit in this jidaigeki saga and because today challenge is to use non-dominant hand don't want to use five body katana. And of course samurai is printed on blade and is so cool!

I am visiting a friend for the weekend in a mountain village. So water is free. Cost: 0.00$

I used last year Scrooge day safety razor. Bulgarian made in early communist era. But then I give a price 10-25$ and I didn't know that base plate is not original and is from another unknown shitty old razor mabymade in some garage. So this garbage doesn't cost more then 1-3$ just if anyone buy it for spear parts for original.

Blade Sputnik is also from last year. I regret that is not same blade because it'll reduced the price from 0.02$ to 0.01$ and is new again. But I'll keep it for LG 2025. And I makes only one pass to not amortize it and to not pay for two passes.

Lather again is Kupa ( Hearts from deck of cards). Last year I used 2 grams and I want to reduced on half so price from 0.01$ to 0.005$ and because is not budget for bowl I face lather. Aftershave i used same quantity 2ml for 0.03$ The most expensive item this year is the brush. Boti knot ~5$ and handle I made on lathe from piece of scrap wood from the decor of "The Voice". I planing to make a career in shaving brushes. If you judges are so punctual I'll add 0.5$ for power for lathe and chisel amortization. Didn't use alum. To expensive. Total cost: 6.555$ way more expensive then last year ~0.060085 $. But hey I growing up in wetshaving and is normal to spend a fortune. P.S. The photo is without post production coz I don't want to pay high qualified labor ( my self ) big money.

I know this soap is favorite to Geo Fatboy but I don't know why I don't like it. I like sandalwood in notes of scents but like main note in this case I don't have pleasant shave. But I prefer it hundred times then vetiver. TOBS was my first favorite brand with Lime zest and Tobacco leaf.

Like I say I am now in one mountain village and what you see on picture up in the dish is traditional meal "Patatnik". I can described more close to your potato pie. Grated potatoes, eggs, Bulgarian cheese, spices etc. ( if someone want I'll give the recipe). In this case I eat it with Bulgarian sheep yogurt and home made drink Bulgarian Rakia ( 48° alcohol traditional drink ). And today is my Name day. Saint Peter day and I drink with friends having this view and leave them to writing this post so I'll be quick. I really want next year Lather Games to be more free to read all comments bit I have to tell you I have view to u/Tangerinesky and I know behind curtains how much efforts put in this crazy videos and ideas. Last day! When I listened Lather Games podcast and I remembered what judges said to write where I from. I can say I that I now live in Bulgarian capital Sofia. Hardware and software is from Brush - Canada Razor - Germany Blade - Portugal ( but I know that Tatara razor blades are made in Czech Republic if I am wrong correct me in comments and my suspicions are that is where make TIGER blades) Soap and Aftershave - USA Alum block - UK ( most of the time I used Mühle alum stone but for the challenge I change with UK brand to be more "international" and not to annoy u/OnionMiasma with Osma)
