    Bought this behemoth of a brush. Missed out on MOARBOAR but wanted to give it a shot. Not a ton of experience with boar brushes and man this brush is a soap eating thirsty b……brush. I started with a little less than 2/3 of a tub of the Rawr and I don’t even know if it will be enough to last the month😂. A rather pasty lather for my first use despite adding more water than I have ever been used to. The brush basically ate the soap at the end. As for the razor I usually use the B plate but as the idea of AA is to get used to equipment I figured I’ll use my less used, more aggressive, plate since I only do one pass a day when daily shaving.     Man! This brush is tough to figure out. Granted I really don’t have much boar brush experience to begin with. It seems like if I lather my normal amount the brush eats the lather and I can barely get enough out for a pass. Today I loaded my brush for 30 seconds and I couldn’t add enough water to get a non pasty lather. Also my puck is now showing the ring of death lol and I’m wondering if I have enough soap to finish the month! Challenges…..challenges….

    Also the ring of death here. Which brings me to a couple questions. When do you personally decide to reformat your ring of death(aka chip it out and make it more flat)? And also what do y’all like to do with an empty soap container ? Just curious. Cheers!

    Hello all, today I was finally able to shave again using my AA gear. Unfortunately I was sent at a moments notice on an emergency deployment for work the last 5~ days. All I was able to grab was my emergency go bag which had none of my AA equipment. Today I got home early in the morning and showered and shaved in my own home. It was refreshing as can be. Unfortunately though this means I am unable to complete AA and the #RawHoggin challenge. Such is life when responsibilities happen. I will continue to post the rest of the month and cheers to those who finish!
