I'm going to call this my real first time with a slant, my actual first time was with a plastic slant which I handled abysmally. Not quite grasping at that point that exceedingly lightweight razors really just weren't my cup of tea.

This one however is heavy, I think it's been termed the 'Sledge Hammer', which I am happy to agree with. I had a bit of trouble finding the angle initially but once there it seemed to perform very well. Only hiccup was a bit of irritation on the ATG pass on the neck, but seeing as this a bit of a problem area at times I'm not not going to condemn it just yet. 

I'll see how it goes as I get used to it, but so far not bad at all.

Day 2 of the 39C going well, not sure I can feel a massive difference with the slant itself but it gives a good finish. This being my first LG I'm probably going to muck something up and I'm not going to be able to hit every day of the games but I'm looking forward to participating, should be a laugh, so this is the last LG PRACTICE

June 25, 2023 – Practice for the Lather Games

This is another LG PRACTICE post. But also as we gear up for lather games I thought I’d do a little self imposed theme. I had originally intended to use my newly acquired Moar Boar to open lather games. But I realized using that brush first time with a little smush would be bad news. So instead I did a shave today somewhat dedicated to this community. Hygge is supposed to convey comfort and togetherness. Something I think is done in internet form here on this sub. The wanderer because a) it plays well with hygge and b) I can back fill this with some excuse about my SOTD posts being a wandering mess. The moar boar which u/j33pguy13 helpfully set up a buy with someone who had one they wanted to sell on Facebook. Still not sure what went down exactly but I sent some money he provided my address and now I have one. This thing is a beast. I initially under loaded it but had a had a good first pass. For pass 2 I went to face lathering which is where this thing shines (and my experience with my other “less” boar matches that.) got a good (but little thick) lather and a great shave. Dunno why but boars seem to result in closer shaves for me. Could be the face lathering. Cannot wait to keep using this brush. Tommorow us my speed day which means boar and face lathering so I’ll use it again. And it’s size will be perfect for leg day.

Nothing special about the creed except I’m off to church and niche smell tend to not work there.

Just a few days left. Looking forward to shenanigans with you all for a month.
