    The Sextoblade has officially moved into the autopilot category for WTG and ATG strokes. XTG on my neck still require absolute attention though. Small changes to angle and stroke come much more naturally than before.

    Three weeks done! My wife asked me this morning how I was liking the Weck and I had a hard time answering. I’ve enjoyed the challenge and getting decently comfortable with it but it won’t overthrow a DE or SE razor as my everyday routine. Probably will try to do one open blade shave a week to keep honing my skills with it.

    3 week weigh in and I’ve used a grand total of 22g over 21 days! Pretty decent usage overall but it hasn’t been consistent. I screwed up week 2s weigh in since I scooped a smoosh of it without thinking about how that would affect things…

    Kismet Blade - Losing My Edge

    Can I get 31 shaves out of this blade? Yes. Easily. Though I do feel that the edge is dulling slightly, I'm not close to the point where I would toss the blade. I have not palm-stropped it, nor do I intend to.

    The 70th Anniversary fragrance continues to be enjoyable when used daily. I am not tiring of it. There is more depth to it in the EdP, but that is to be expected.

    At the end of this month, I'll have 34 shaves on the puck. This would be a good year to use 70th Anniversary 70 times.

    Shave went exactly the same as yesterday. Decent results as the hair shaper has become an extensive of my hand and I’m kinda sorta almost comfortable with it.     Dear u/PrideTwo

    Today, there's no sugarcoating it - this challenge feels like a relentless uphill battle. The twenty-first day of this enduring #WAR has brought a surge of frustration and a longing for its end. It's as if the routine, once a dance of determination, has now become a tiresome chore, a reminder of the struggles I face each day.

    The razor, my unwavering companion, met my skin with a sense of resignation. The scent of the soap, the ever-present aroma of #WAR, lingered in the air, a constant reminder of the journey I'm on. And yet, amidst the frustration, a moment of carelessness led to two nicks as I attempted to clean up my sideburns.

    It's a reminder that even in the midst of routine, danger still lurks, and lapses in focus can have consequences. As the day unfolded, I found myself yearning for the end of this challenge, for the return to normalcy, for the opportunity to move beyond the confines of this #WAR.

    As the twenty-first day comes to a close, I carry with me a sense of weariness, a reminder that even in the face of challenge, my determination can waver. Tomorrow, I'll rise again, ready to face whatever this #WAR brings, but also driven by the hope that the end is within sight.     With 21 shaves completed that leaves a measly 10 left. C’mon, brothers and sisters (are any sisters weckoning?) – we’ve got this.

    My lather was plenty slick tonight and still this personna skipped around my face a couple of unfortunate times. Hopefully that doesn’t continue. Otherwise an alright shave – the tip bit my neck just a bit in a spot but nothing too terrible.

    Dammusi continues to shine and the cooldown tonight feels extra intense and pleasant for some reason. Love it.

    Dundy is also still great. My Shire Lancaster towel was recently cleaned and brought back to the bathroom and it’s amazing how green the photo skews with it as the background – that handle is solidly yellow but looks real green. There’s your random thought of AA for the night.

    Today’s shave sucked. I did a bad job, too loose with the technique, lots of weepers and a good nick on the mustache area. Gonna get made fun of by some high schoolers at work tomorrow for sure. Same passes as the past week-ish. Probably going to be my plan for the rest of the month.

    This blade is definitely starting to die as well. It’s going to be a slog to get through the last 10 shaves. I had the chance to compare it to a fresh blade as well (after I used the Weck for today’s AA shave I did my weekly headshave with the Vector and an AC blade that’s only a couple shaves old) and this Personna is pretty far gone. It’s super tuggy and not cutting hair very well. I’m going to have to really step up my lather game for the rest of the month to keep it alive.

    AA Mileage: 97 miles. Rest day today. Going for 6ish a day the rest of the week.
