    Hey, it's Day 2 and I'm still in it! Crazy.

    Despite my penchant for long-winded essays in these SOTDs, due to the lack of variety during Austere August I'm very quickly going to run out of things to say, so I'm going to take it easy for now. That's technically part of the un-challenge, so I expect bonus points. After yesterday's post took over an hour to write (including the video aspects and decluttering my sink space for such) I think that's for the best.

    There's nothing much else to report, except that Mood Indigo is a thing of beauty, Tusk is the superior soap base choice, and I'm loving the shaves so far. Let's see if/how that last point changes as we get deeper into the month.

    Shout-out to all my Mammoth lather-buddies this AA. Particular shout-out to u/Marquis90, who has also chosen the pinnacle of HoM's line-up in Mood Indigo. Let me know if I've missed any other Indigo-ers.

    AA Day 2! I typically don't shave every day, so this is going to be an interesting month for me. Did a 2 pass shave (WTG & XTG). Not a bad shave. The underside of my jaw, though, remains to be a challenge area. My goal for the month is to master that area.

    Aug 2, 2023- AA Unchallenge Day 2

    • Prep: Hot Shower
    • Brush: PAA Starcraft
    • Razor: Schick I2 Hydromagic Injector
    • Blade: Schick injector
    • Soap: 345 Soap Co. Yacht Club
    • Postshave: 345 Soap Co. Yacht Club splash, Balm, and EDP

    Today was another easy day with this razor and setup. 2.5 passes as normal left me with a nice DFS. Blade feels like it has maybe one or two more shaves on it, but I don't know how many it has on it. I just know that it isn't as efficient as it was a few shaves ago. Good little razor and definitely getting my moneys worth out of the blade. I hope everyone has a great day and has a great shave.
