I got a fun little surprise this morning. I started seeing the Williams logo from the bottom of the puck showing through. I thought I'd use the whole puck up this month, but I'm happy it lasted. It's got at least a week of life left.

Straight shave thirty and we’ve arrived at the penultimate corner of this marathon lap around the shaving calendar. My shave today was close to as good as I can get with a DE. Seeing as I had never used a straight before Aug 1, it really is amazing to see how well this month has progressed.

On the brush front, today was the first day that I didn’t have to go back for a light reload for the second pass. With only one day to spare, I think we can now call this little piggy fully broken in.

The days of August Austerity are drawing to a close tomorrow, but today, we rejoice! I had the best shave of the month. DFS, for sure, and that is better than I choose to get most days with a safety razor. One of these days coming up, I plan to get a barbershop shave from a local and well-regarded Tonsorial parlor. I’ll be anxious to see how it compares.

Well this weekend is my weekend with my dad so I am starting to get stuff moved over, today I shaved at my dads and because the water heater is actually really good I got more smell from the soap which was cool and exciting. I need to get a mirror wiper for here though because I could barely see it was so foggy. I'm not completely sure if I'm still in any of the challenges because there was a day that I posted on the wrong thread and I can't remember what the judges said.
