    Not much more I can say about this set up. It's been a good one. I've had no regrets.

    Brush before and after pics. I continue to be amazed by the fact that this brush has only shed two hairs.

    $BarnyardChallenge musical inspiration provided by The Dead Weather. I love Jack White and have had his newest album No Name on repeat since it dropped. He's one of my favorite guitarists and the guy has a knack for writing songs. But none of his solo albums have any songs referring to farm animals. So I had to go back to his contributions with The Dead Weather to find one. I think "No Horse" is a good option for the theme.

    Coffee is the only option in the mornings for me. Life doesn't begin without it. Try to enjoy your day and remember to be kind to one another.

    Straight shave twenty-seven. Four more to go and I honestly wouldn’t mind if it was fourteen… XTG on the second pass today, and it would have been almost perfect if I hadn’t given myself a small cut above my top lip. I still don’t quite have perfect touch when making initial contact with the blade and once in a while I feel that sting that means I did it wrong… small cut that stopped quickly so no major issue, but still annoying.

    The brush seems fully broken in though is still requiring a light reload for the second pass. I’m not sure if that is the brush or the soap. I’ve tried loading longer, but that just tends to leave to more lather left on the puck ready to pick up on the second pass.

    Backed off the angle some after the nick yesterday. A bit better tonight, and lather continues to be pretty good. Still I miss bowl lathering. I feel like I’m scrubbing the heck out of my face. Shaving exfoliates plenty already, don’t need this scrubby brush doubling up on that.

    I guess this is the year of extra credit if you are a good student because my grades are crazy, everything is above 100%, one class I have 150%. It seems like every other kid in the school is just brainrotted from social media because I don't understand them. We have a new school phone policy that is completely reasonable and some people still complain. Homecoming is coming up but I don't think I would want to go with anyone from this school. Nearby a kid got stabbed from another school, something gang related apparently. Shave was pretty good but I have my annual back to school acne and coldsore which slightly affects the shave. Brush is pretty much broken in I think. Thanks for reading my daily diary because I think that's what these posts have become lol.

    School starts tomorrow and all 3 of mine are going (though the youngest is only half days) - and that sucks. Summer is over. It was a good one, at times great, even - but gosh, I'll have it back, please.

    No more "dad's home!" when I come home for lunch. No more leisurely mornings. Over, fin, done. Yes, I know it's normal for your kids to grow up and my kids love school and they need the socialization and on and on, but, I just want them home.

    Anyway. If you're not the sappy parent time, feel free to just move on. I don't care.

    It was a really great last day of summer with them, though. They each chose a board game to play with me (and at times each other) so we had Azul (2 rounds), Marvel United (just once) and a few games of Spot it! classic edition.

    Also took all 3 on individual bike rides with dad - the oldest was 5.5+ miles, middle was just under 4 miles, youngest was 2.5 miles.

    They're the best.
