    Straight shave twenty-six. This was another good one. Close enough (as good as I can get with two WTG passes) and no cuts (other than the prick mentioned below) or irritation with no real feedback from the splash. I somehow pricked my bottom lip with the toe point during final cleanup, but it didn’t really even bleed so was more annoyance than anything else.

    Five shaves to go and I’m still loving this whole kit.

    Once again, I focused on using short, light strokes and again was rewarded with a close shave without irritation. I didn't expect this kind of results after 26 shaves on the GEM, but I'm not arguing!

    This blade is starting to hit the second smooth part, it’s smooth but doesn’t feel very sharp anymore. I shouldn’t have an issue with it the rest of the month but not going to keep it around any longer than I have to.

    I got a little over confident I guess. Didn’t notice during the shave, but gave myself a little nick on my cheek near my upper lip. I guess the score is about 21-5 in no nicks vs. some blood. Didn’t even sting from the splash. Very slow weeper, so I put a touch of alum on it. Frustrating as it was a fantastic lather and otherwise the shave felt good, but was buttering the toast as loud as a Shovelhead. No faults of the soap, and now I have a nice lemon/vanilla-ish, and sweet sort of sandalwood scent to enjoy. Maybe I’ll get my spray out to give it some oomph.

    Because of the uneven scooping before I started tub loading, the bottom breaking through isn’t a nice circle.

    I shaved this morning but am just now getting around to posting this! Back to work today after having the past 5 days off which has been very nice and long overdue.
