    Face is smooth as glass and I smell good. I'm looking forward to shaving with a couple of new acquisitions next week, but for now we Shepherd the Hogs along.

It's too bad his new album isn't out now, because it has a fucking rooster on the cover which would fit perfectly with this month's musical theme. Any way, on to vegan death metal we go!.

    I have actually shaved the past two days I didn't post as well but... having COVID and failing to shave every day kind of sucked my mental capacity to commit to posting the rest of the month. I am, indeed, a bad person. Also, the wife and kiddo were in Green Bay for the week to take him to his first Packers game so I had video games to play. I forgot how good it is to sit on a couch and just play video games for hours on end. Well, for a few days. By the end of yesterday I was missing them something fierce and clearly unable to function as a human being if I couldn't even put SOTD up.

    Road the cap on flat bottom perfectly with the shave. When you nail the angle on this guy, it's magic. Real tired of Tabac but it does kick up a nice lather... still.

    Straight shave twenty-six. This was another good one. Close enough (as good as I can get with two WTG passes) and no cuts (other than the prick mentioned below) or irritation with no real feedback from the splash. I somehow pricked my bottom lip with the toe point during final cleanup, but it didn’t really even bleed so was more annoyance than anything else.

    Five shaves to go and I’m still loving this whole kit.

    Once again, I focused on using short, light strokes and again was rewarded with a close shave without irritation. I didn't expect this kind of results after 26 shaves on the GEM, but I'm not arguing!

    I got a little over confident I guess. Didn’t notice during the shave, but gave myself a little nick on my cheek near my upper lip. I guess the score is about 21-5 in no nicks vs. some blood. Didn’t even sting from the splash. Very slow weeper, so I put a touch of alum on it. Frustrating as it was a fantastic lather and otherwise the shave felt good, but was buttering the toast as loud as a Shovelhead. No faults of the soap, and now I have a nice lemon/vanilla-ish, and sweet sort of sandalwood scent to enjoy. Maybe I’ll get my spray out to give it some oomph.

    Because of the uneven scooping before I started tub loading, the bottom breaking through isn’t a nice circle.

    Day 26: It was a good blade day AND a good lather day! I was actually able to enjoy the scent during the shave rather than have "man this shave sucks" in my head the whole time. On another good note, i was able to learn that I am at the very least NOT deathly allergic to wasp stings. Silver linings and all that.
