    Excellent shave, nice chilled one for a pleasant three pass effort with a very smooth finish. That'll be the most chilled part of the day though, now I've got to help the Mrs prep for a kids party with about 20 x 6 year olds...save me!

    I wonder if having a strop with a Friodur makes any sense. And how a Friodur could be the best introduction for a straight razor shaving beginner.

    Took a while on my face to get a food lather as the lather in my Mug was too thin. Maybe this is the real beginning of difficult lather. Got a few nicks on my upper lip although the razor feels better than right after honing. $honemeisterschaft

    One week left now. I do think I’m getting a little better, but no where near the ease of effort with a DE razor. Not sure I’ll kill the tub by next Saturday. If not, I’ll have it for Mammoth Mondays until it is killed. I do like that the Mammoth logo is peaking out of the ring o’death.

    Forgot to grab a gear pic but I did snag pics of the brush for the progress album. This thing broke in so nicely over the month, I'd say it only took about a dozen shaves to hit it's stride.
