    Decent shave, happy with refresh, though as I said yesterday it wasn't in dire need of it and still had plenty of shaves left on the existing edge. It's nice to know that the peanut method works though and bodes well for the mass refresh I did at the beginning.

    I enjoyed last year's AA running a GEM throughout, but this one is shaping up to be better again. Though I likely won't carry on with the straights in isolation after AA (I'll have a new GEM of dark origin in transit soon, with luck, along with a twisted adjustable), but they will certainly feature more frequently!

    Just finished the 750+ mile drive back from WI. Decided to hone tomorrow. Too tired to do a good job of it. Probably should have taken a nap before shaving. Not the best I’ve done at all. Looking forward to honing this and 3 other razors tomorrow. I’m going to touch up the two I previously honed and fixed some small chips. A razor I got from Duke City that listed as shave ready and tested, but it didn’t cut hair on my arm which is much thinner than my beard.
