    Cracking shave to kick off a sunny day.

    The brush is preforming brilliantly at the halfway point. I still would have liked the slightly longer handle, but this is more than competent.

    The razor is rumbling along like a champ, we'll see whether I notice a significant difference from the refresh tomorrow.

    Still enjoying the software, but I am starting to feel like changing it up, but will obviously keep up the challenge...it's not helped that I know I have a handful of goodies coming through soon.

    Yesterday I talked about improving my technique with more focus. Today I was too lazy to care at all. Scrape of my skin and a bit of beard. Today I ll drive to my brother’s 12th birthday. Hopefully with some cake and barbecue. He ll get some Lego as presents.

    I'm in the phase of AA where routine has taken over. My lather is great, the brush is breaking in nicely, and the edge is still comfortable. The edge refresh weekend of HoneMeisterschaft comes just in time to make things interesting again.

    I'll try to find a moment tonight after Djunior's bedtime to give the Frio a fresh new edge for the remainder of August, and I'm looking forward to reading the other HoneMeinsters' pets about refreshing their edges and the difference it makes.

    Today’s another early-ish shave. Heading up to visit more of my wife’s family near the WI Dells. Didn’t have time to hone, but plan to when we get back tonight. Definitely feeling the edge more, but it still shaves. The soap is surprising me in how it is lasting. I’ve switched to tub loading, but now it might take until the last day to kill it. I think that will get this tub to 70 or so shaves.

    I did go ahead and hone again just because it was the designated weekend. Just did a touch up on the coticule I had previously used and feel like it’s still an incredibly comfortable edge. I did officially find the bottom of the tub tonight too so I’m feeling somewhat confident in the progress I’m making on this tub since it’s the 17th shave.
