    I'm solidly back on the morning shave routine train and that feels good. I was almost expecting that, after yesterday's ultra-smooth Friodur 17 Second Luxury Shave™, this 50 would feel rough by comparison, but this edge and razor still feel smooth and pleasant. It just feels lighter, less deliberate, less substantial.

    Nose blindness is setting in and the scent of Roman Spice starts to escape me while lathering and shaving. I still get the splash and the frag, so that's good, but I'm getting tempted to go more than my usual 2 spritzes, which is probably not the best idea for a day at the office.

    Oh, and the brush is winning me over.

    I can clearly see the bottom of the tub now. This brush is great to Plow through soap while still having a great lather quality. My face felt exceptionally smooth today after the shave.

    I decided to hook up a working student at work with fine Wetshaving gear. He is shaving with a DE, but not happy with his result and has some blood spots on the neck. I gave him my Karve CB with D plate. My Böker Synthetic (why is it so soft, he asked), Extro Cosmesi, Stirling and B&M soap. He is using Astra green already.

    No let up in this razor still don't a great job. I suspect I am going to get a little antsy towards the end of this AA, I've got a load of TSF enroute (sadly no splash) and I know I'm going to be itching to try it. Oh well, it's not like I'm slumming it.

    Brush is performing very well, it's holding and releasing a decent amount of lather now. I remember the SOC last year struggled when soaking so was more of a splash and go, this one though seems to be able to cope well.

    Cracking shave and hope everyone has a grand day.

    Flipped my shave schedule today as I'm headed back to work after some time off. I shaved late enough last night that I went right in for a single AGT pass. Face is feeling super smooth. I did give myself a light whack on the chin, but I should survive.

    I have moved to 2 toots of the EDP as the nose blindness begins and because I just need more Shire in my life.

    The Black Boar knot. You can see how it seems a hair full of uneven cuts like the head of Robert Smith, and my struggle (you can't see it but try to imagine) to remove pieces of bristles embedded in the soap with tweezers. At least the stink has disminished noticeably.

    .#NoStrop The maintenance-free Friodur continues to give awesome shaves.

    Don't forget the wonderful lather from Sonder, take a look at this first pass lather. What do you think about it?

    Decided to go for smooth and did 3 passes. Don’t think I’ll do that again. Yes, it is a bit smoother, but it was pretty tuggy. Don’t think it is worth the effort unless I get a lot better at this. Lathering was a little easier tonight. I didn’t shake out as much water, and the brush loaded about the same, but it took less work to build the lather on the face. Pretty decent really, and the brush seemed a lot better today. For Sonder, I haven’t brought out the EdT, but kind of want to add it to get more scent. I didn’t go with it this month because I didn’t think my sample spray would last all month. Next full size EdT may be Sonder or Voices. Haven’t decided yet, but won’t be getting both, at least not this year.
