    Excellent shave with a smooth finish and excellent scent. Can't really tell from the pics but I'm definitely putting a dent in the soap. I really should have been weighing from the start. I'll try to remember (again) to do it going forward.

    Now it's heading out to the zoo with the little one and the rest of the family followed by a braii tonight, should be fun!

    On a magic tournament today. I came back late in the night from a gin tasting and need a bit more sleep. Woke up before my alarm and shaved early. Although there was little stubble, I managed to get a great shave. We bought a gin with Mango in it. Great for the summer. The brand names their gin after city’s and there is also one with sour cherry, which I find intriguing.

    Morning shave! Last day of vacation, and I finally managed to switch back to shaving in the morning. For vacation djundjila, this feels like a big accomplishment. I'll miss vacation djundjila tomorrow.

    I've reached the uneventful part of AA. The razor still has a great edge, the brush makes ok lather and doesn't change a lot anymore between shaves, Roman Spice still smells summery and fresh, and I'm enjoying the routine.

    If not for the required daily pic for Raw Hoggin', I wouldn't even move my gear (with the exception of the straight, which I keep out of Djunior's reach.

    Now off to the neighborhood pool for dinner fun with Djunior.

    Forgot a pre shave brush pic, so wet brush with my SOTD. Another painless shave brings my score to 8-3. Definitely not sacrificing as much blood as when I went a month with the MMOC.

    Have a great remainder of the weekend. It’s going to be a short week coming up for me with a trip to WI on Thursday.

    The Black Boar knot

    The Henckels continue to amaze me, with its keenness and smoothness without stroping, something that should be represented in the mid-panel of Bosch's "De tuin der lusten" where the black boar knot losing and breaking bristles should be in the third.

    Stayed up till midnight to see The Perseid Meteor shower. It was amazing, caught some really bright ones and also just had a good time looking at the stars. Shave was good today as well 😎
