Really really close to finishing this tub of soap, maybe 2-3 more uses left.

Been working on my open blade shaves here and there lately. I am a big fan of the Kamisori handle shape as it just fits my hand well. The CJB is the only open blade razor I’ve dated to try an ATG pass with.

June 26, 2023 – No Mo FOMO

• Blade: 7 O’Clock – Sharpedge (Yellow) (2)
• Lather: Chiseled Face – Summer Storm
• Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. – Bergamot Lavender

Day 2 using my new to me brush and it continues to impress. I went straight for face lathering, which I usually do with CF soaps. A 35 second load landed me enough lather for 2.5 passes and 2 passes on my upper chest with a ton left over. This brush is gonna make leg day so much easier. Still dialing in how to hydrate with it, mostly because of its size. I do want to see if I can make bowl lathering work because I like my scuttle but even if I can’t an every other day rotation with my badger would be awesome.

Let’s get to the end of the week and the start of lather games. Even my kids are asking when it starts.

Today is actually my anniversary but my wife decided to schedule a work trip...

First tub kill of, well ever. So that means with GRUYE I’m now… Still with one more tub than I started thanks to kind PIF generosity. I’d like to get another one in the back half of the year but let’s see.

• Lather: Barrister and Mann – Diamond  
• Post Shave: Barrister and Mann – Diamond  

Diamond really is the GOAT Spring/Summer scent. This Soviet clone of the Platinum wasn’t too bad despite being on the light side I still got a decent shave.
