Really really close to finishing this tub of soap, maybe 2-3 more uses left.

Been working on my open blade shaves here and there lately. I am a big fan of the Kamisori handle shape as it just fits my hand well. The CJB is the only open blade razor I’ve dated to try an ATG pass with.

• Fragrance: Gentleman's Nod - Ernest

I'm going to call this my real first time with a slant, my actual first time was with a plastic slant which I handled abysmally. Not quite grasping at that point that exceedingly lightweight razors really just weren't my cup of tea.

This one however is heavy, I think it's been termed the 'Sledge Hammer', which I am happy to agree with. I had a bit of trouble finding the angle initially but once there it seemed to perform very well. Only hiccup was a bit of irritation on the ATG pass on the neck, but seeing as this a bit of a problem area at times I'm not not going to condemn it just yet. 

I'll see how it goes as I get used to it, but so far not bad at all.

Diamond really is the GOAT Spring/Summer scent. This Soviet clone of the Platinum wasn’t too bad despite being on the light side I still got a decent shave.

I think the formatting should be ok. Late shave tonight like I have done all week. I’m off all of next week. We were supposed to take a trip to Wisconsin to visit my wife’s family, but with my wife’s illness, not going to travel. Her mom and sister are visiting instead. Not sure what craziness is in store, but might have a couple more witnesses this year.
